Apple's recently released iPhone 12 mini has sparked quite a debate, with differing opinions on its appeal. The mini model, with its 7.4mm thickness and 133g weight, stands as the lightest and thinnest 5G phone in the iPhone 12 series. Industry expert Li Nan expresses admiration for its industrial design, but sales figures have been disappointing.
However, a report by PCMag's Chief Mobile Analyst, Sasha Segan, highlights iPhone 12 mini as the least favored among the four models, citing the decline in demand for smaller screens. It's been noted that it had the worst initial sales in the past three years, mainly due to its perceived shortcomings.
The dwindling interest in small-screen devices, combined with the lack of substantial price cut and the device's limited battery life, have contributed to its underwhelming performance in the market.
