这组词(组)均可表示“缺乏”。其区别在于：

1.lack指完全没有或有而不足,所缺之物可好可坏,在用法上, lack 后面不能接动名词。

2.want指缺乏值得有、希望有或为了完整性而必需的东西,在用法上want也可以跟动名词作宾语,而且用主动形式表示被动的意义。例如:

She is wanting in common sense.她缺乏常识。
