摘要：A method for location-based social networking, comprising steps of accessingan interface of a social-networking system, determining a location, displaying informationabout the location on a monitor, and interacting with the information, wherein interactingcomprises at least rating the information. In one embodiment, accessing is performed by

logging in to an account to determine the location. The displayed information can includeinformation about clothing, marketplaces, self-serve advertisements, digital gifting,billing, ask-around information, and public events. Broadcasting music based on thelocation can be performed. Interacting with other system users by video chatting, audiochatting, and instant messaging can be performed. The information can be searched. Theinformation can be displayed in multiple languages in accordance with the location.
