摘要：A method and apparatus is described for packaging a light- weight, flimsygarment such as hosiery in light-weight, flimsy packaging material such as plastic film. Agarment is drawn by air pressure into a packing chamber and about a rotating spindle.The packed garment is then pushed off of the spindle by a plunger into and through atubular strip of packaging material and into a closed end portion thereof. The packedclosed end portion of the strip is then sealed and severed.
