摘要：fiuid-tight slide fastener (10) is disclosed which comproses a pair of stringertapes (11. 12) each having an inner edge region (19), an outer edge region (17) and astretchable region (18) intermediate between the two edge regions (19, 17) which arenon-stretchabie. The intermediate stretchable region (18) is provided to yieldingly takeup transverse stresses which would otherwise act upon the inner edge region (19) to splitapart the fastener halves and produce leakage therethrough.
